Finished model made of resin. The Saurer 2DM is considered a legend among Swiss army trucks. Built from 1959, initially for the transport and construction industry, it impressed with its absolute reliability and incredible towing capacity thanks to its permanent four-wheel drive. Between 1964 and 1976, the army acquired an immense number of 3,200 Saurer vehicles, as well as 1,600 examples of the identical Berna. Due to their high level of reliability, the last trucks remained in military use until 2009.
