"Plastic model kit of a U.S. dragster. This kit includes a fully detailed engine, one-piece chassis, removable body panels, roll cage, seated driver, delicate steering rack, rear wing, standing crew figure, starting Christmas tree"", chrome trim, and vinyl tires, ignition wires, fuel and oil lines. Decals feature colorful racing liveries and sponsor logos, as well as authentic snake graphics. Don ""The Snake"" Prudhomme (April 6, 1941), a true legend of the sport, completed his 47th year of drag racing when he retired in 2009. He spent 32 seasons behind the wheel as one of the sport's elite drivers, followed by 15 seasons as a successful team owner. He began his career as a crew member for TV Tommy Ivo, but at age 20 he scored his first professional win in a dragster. In 1965, he became the first person to win both the Winternationals and U.S. Nationals in the same season. He moved from Top Fuel to Funny Cars in 1973 and won his first national championship. In 1975, he was the first to break the 6-second barrier. In 1980, he set the NHRA Funny Car world record, a record he would beat two more times, finishing with a time of 5.305 seconds in 1988. Prudhomme didn't stop rewriting the NHRA record books even though he gave up his role as a driver to become the owner of a multi-car team. He was inducted into both the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America and the International Motorsports Hall of Fame."
